I snapped these from the bulletin board at my kids\u2019 school the other day and thought at the time that I\u2019d be using them on my own blog, where my readers are used to that sort of thing.)\u00a0 The poor lady there with the after-school kids was stuck listening to my rant.\u00a0 When I told her butter is <em>good <\/em>for her, she whispered apologetically, \u201cYeah, I eat a <em>little <\/em>now and then.\u201d\u00a0 I wanted to scream.\u00a0 Due to THIS misinformation below, she and probably 95% of American adults all think the same old thing.\u00a0 Maybe more?\u00a0 What do you think?\u00a0 In your daily life aren\u2019t you constantly coming across <em>very <\/em>few people who know the truth about real food and healthy fats?\u00a0 Maybe you\u2019re still unsure yourself, and if so, that\u2019s OK.\u00a0 There\u2019s so much conflicting information coming at us, it\u2019s not easy <a href=\"http:\/\/kellythekitchenkop.com\/2007\/12\/where-is-truth-on-health-and-nutrition_30.html\" ><strong>knowing what to believe<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s wrong with these pictures?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Why are so many of us suffering from more diseases of <em>all<\/em> kinds, but especially <strong>Metabolic Syndrome<\/strong>?\u00a0 Read <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Metabolic_syndrome\" ><strong>Wikipedia\u2019s definition<\/strong><\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201c<em>Metabolic syndrome is a combination of medical disorders that increase the risk of developing cardiovascular disease and diabetes.\u00a0 It affects one in five people, and prevalence increases with age.<\/em> <em><strong>Some studies estimate the prevalence in the USA to be up to 25% of the population<\/strong><\/em>.\u201d(&#8230;)<br \/>Click here to read the rest of <a href=\"http:\/\/nourishedkitchen.com\/kelly-kitchen-kop\/\">Guest Post: The Messed Up Food Pyramid<\/a> (668 words)<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Wondering where your full feed went?
