Seventy-one participants have raised over $1900 so far!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.eff.org\/defcon\">Registration<\/a> is still open, and the contest is still very much up for grabs!  Current first place team <a href=\"http:\/\/action.eff.org\/site\/TR\/Contest\/Advocacy?team_id=1520&amp;pg=team&amp;fr_id=1040\">Holy Handgrenades<\/a> is sitting pretty at $575, with individual contestants <a href=\"http:\/\/action.eff.org\/site\/TR\/Contest\/Advocacy?px=1918467&amp;pg=personal&amp;fr_id=1040\">Evan Keiser<\/a> at second place with $65 and <a href=\"http:\/\/action.eff.org\/site\/TR\/Contest\/Advocacy?px=2533765&amp;pg=personal&amp;fr_id=1040\">Robert Rowley<\/a> at third place with $25. The pool of fabulous prizes is still within your reach!<\/p>\n<p>Big thanks to Ninja Networks and Friends for sponsoring the contest and raising over $1200; however, contestants please note that its team has declared themselves ineligible for the prize package, leaving the contest wide open.  Form a team; <a href=\"http:\/\/action.eff.org\/badges\">put a badge up on your blog<\/a>; ask your friends and family &#8212; there are lots of ways to help EFF and compete for the prizes.
