The 1985 action classic (in my opinion, anyway) Commando<\/em>, is getting the remake treatment<\/a>, says Fox.\u00a0 It’s being reworked by David Ayer, who wrote Training Day<\/em>, so while it could be, you know, good, it is very unlikely to be as cool (unless they decide to include the 15-minute montage of Arnold loading guns).\u00a0 While it is extremely unlikely that Arnold or Alyssa Milano will be reprising their roles, we all hold out hope that the fat, Australian Freddie Mercury look-alike will be returning, chain mail vest and all.<\/p>\n

This announcement follows news of the Predator <\/em>sequel\/reboot Predators,<\/em><\/a> featuring Adrien Brody and Terminator: Salvation<\/em>.\u00a0 It looks like a whole new generation of moviegoers will be privy to the phenomenon that was Arnold Schwarzenegger’s 1980’s film career.\u00a0\u00a0 Without Arnold in any of the films.\u00a0 Bizarre.<\/p>\n
