Co-founder Elon Musk and his wife Justine Musk have filed for divorce, a move that could complicate plans by Elon to take the company public and retain $465 million in U.S. government funding to launch a mass-market Model S sedan.<\/p>\n<p>Musk is the largest shareholder in Tesla, which has over 81 million shares. Nonetheless it is unclear how much of the company Elon owns since Tesla does not disclose current shares on issue.
