But that will change in six months.<\/p>\n<p>If voters are not <a href=\"http:\/\/cleantechnica.com\/2010\/02\/12\/anti-ab32-ballot-initiative-renamed-by-democratic-governator-candidate-jerry-brown\/\" >tricked by Big Oil into repealing California&#8217;s AB32<\/a> climate bill; starting in 2011,\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/cleantechnica.com\/2010\/05\/17\/2010\/02\/27\/al-gore-electranet-begins-in-california\/\" >Californians will be paid for excess renewable power<\/a> they make at the end of each year &#8211; or they can choose to roll-over extra kilowatt hours and use them later.<\/p>\n<p>As part of meeting the renewable energy requirements to reduce greenhouse gases, the CPUC is scheduled to decide by January 2011 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dsireusa.org\/incentives\/incentive.cfm?Incentive_Code=CA02R&amp;re=1&amp;ee=1\" >what exact amount will be paid<\/a> &#8211; per kilowatt hour &#8211; to individual homeowners and businesses that produce an annual excess of solar or wind power for the grid.<\/p>\n<p>To help policy makers with fine-tuning this decision &#8211; to a Goldilocks-like just-right fairness to both sides &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wind-works.org\/FeedLaws\/France\/ChabotonWind-Works\/DocumentsbyBernardChabot.html\">Bernard   Chabot<\/a>, the French expert in Feed-in Tariff policy design is offering an advanced <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wind-works.org\/FeedLaws\/USA\/SanFranciscoFITPrice-SettingWorkshopwithBernardChabot.html\" >Feed-In Tariff workshop<\/a> in San Francisco\u00a0 on July 13th.
