For those who care, Charlie Sheen, the highest-paid actor on television, has agreed to reprise his role as womanizing writer Charlie Harper on the CBS sitcom Two And A Half Men<\/em> for an additional two years, after threatening to walk away from the hit show over a salary dispute as his private life spiralled out of control.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Sheen, who has been nominated for four Emmys for his art-imitating-life role as the sex-crazed bachelor, is currently facing domestic violence charges in Colorado following a Christmas Day argument with his crack-addicted wife, Brooke Mueller. Production on the series was halted when he checked into rehab.<\/p>\n Sheen has issued a statement confirming he will return to the show just in time for the network\u2019s upfronts, which will take place on Wednesday.<\/p>\n \u201cTo put a fitting end on the two and one-half months of whirlwind speculation, I\u2019m looking forward to returning to my CBS home on Monday nights,\u201d<\/em> Sheen said in a statement on Monday evening. \u201cI want to thank Les Moonves for his support.\u201d<\/p>\n Two And A Half Men<\/em> just wrapped shooting on its seventh season.
