Turns out, not at all.<\/p>\n<p>Bloomberg New <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sfgate.com\/cgi-bin\/article.cgi?f=\/g\/a\/2010\/05\/17\/bloomberg1376-L2MG8Q0UQVI9-1.DTL\" >reports<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Baxter Phillips, Richard Gabrys and Dan Moore, who each served on Massey&#8217;s safety committee, will keep their seats on the Richmond, Virginia-based company&#8217;s board, six weeks after the explosion at the Upper Big Branch mine where 29 people were killed. Each received a majority of the votes cast at Massey&#8217;s annual meeting in Richmond today, the company said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span id=\"more-85046\"><\/span>The board members had come under fire recently from some shareholders &#8212; including state pension funds &#8212; who were urging their ouster at today&#8217;s annual gathering.
