In a revealing chat with the June issue of In Style Magazine<\/a><\/em>, the Mexican-born actress and former Ugly Betty<\/em> producer reveals that she has adopted the surname of her husband, French businessman Francios-Henri Pinault.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Salma, 43, says it was the couple’s 3-year-old daughter, Valentina, who inspired her to embrace the change.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was Valentina\u2019s request. I didn\u2019t think about it until she brought it up,\u201d<\/em> Salma told the mag. “We were shooting a film and she saw my chair with my name on it. She said, \u2018What does it say there?\u2019 And I said, \u2018Salma Hayek.\u2019 And she said, \u2018What about Pinault?
