The story tells of \u201chiring a deputy ferries director to hold managers more accountable\u201d to fix problems in the state ferry system. In the private sector, which helps pay the state\u2019s bills, every manager at every level is continually held accountable for his or her actions.<\/p>\n<p>Businesses do not need and cannot afford another manager to accomplish their goals.
