{"id":571578,"date":"2010-05-20T10:06:16","date_gmt":"2010-05-20T14:06:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sevensidedcube.net\/?p=11597"},"modified":"2010-05-20T10:06:16","modified_gmt":"2010-05-20T14:06:16","slug":"serious-cyclone-hits-india","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/571578","title":{"rendered":"Serious Cyclone Hits India"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-11599\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sevensidedcube.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/ind-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"Serious Cyclone Hits India\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" \/>Thursday May 20, 2010 a <strong>serious cyclone<\/strong> has hit <strong>southeastern India<\/strong>, leaving behind broken power lines and damaging electrical installations bringing darkness all over the place.<\/p>\n<p>Around 15 people have died during the cyclone, waves grew as high as 3 meters and it was raining like crazy according to Chief Minister Andhra Pradesh.<\/p>\n<p>Peak winds reached up to 100 kilometers (60 miles) per hour mixed with heavy rain. The cyclone hit the coastal town of <strong>Bapatla <\/strong>which is around 400 kilometers (250 miles) southeast of Hyderabad that is the state capital.<\/p>\n<p>More than 50,000 perople have been evacuated as welfare agencies guided them to safety. It is said to have been the worst cyclone in 14 years.
