The message is a simple pep talk at the highest level, but with a riptide of martial tones: if Americans know &#8220;you&#8217;re fussy about installing wiring,&#8221; then they&#8217;ll keep buying Pontiacs and we can, essentially, repel the menace.<\/p>\n<p>Obviously, it didn&#8217;t work.
