So, HP wants to put webOS on a printer<\/a>. We know, right? Thing is, HP actually started down this road a year ago with the release of the HP Photosmart Premium TouchSmart Web All-in-One Printer<\/a>. The printer sports a capacitive touchscreen and apps that let you print stuff – like a custom-formatted version of USA Today or little robots to populate your office. HP actually has a full app store for the all-in-one printer<\/a> and even an SDK<\/a>.<\/p>\n It’s all a lot of effort for a printer and looking at the ecosystem here, you can see how an elegant OS like, well, webOS could really add to the equation here.
