Maybach 57S Coupe by Xenatec<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Even though the Maybach Exelero coupe received a lot of attention from consumers and the media, the Mercedes-Benz uber-luxury brand never put it into production (or even limited production). In fact, the Exelero was a one-off model commissioned by Fulda Tyres. Fulda used the car as a reference vehicle to test a new generation of wide tires. The Exelero even popped up in Jay-Z’s video for his song Lost One<\/a>.<\/p>\n

While Maybach won’t be doing a coupe anytime soon (or never depending on whether they stick around or not), German based engineering specialist Xenatec will. The firm is building 100 examples of a Maybach 57S coupe at \u00a3560,000 ($807,265 USD)\u00a0a piece.<\/p>\n

Daimler is all-go for the project and will be supplying 57 chassis from its\u00a0Sindelfingen based manufacturing headquarters.<\/p>\n

Power will come from the same 6.0L twin-turbo V12 making 612-hp and 737 lb-ft of torque.<\/p>\n
