Hennessey 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS HPE800<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While many will be satisfied with the 426-hp coming from under the hood of a stock 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS, Hennessey Performance engineering is offering upgrades for those who won’t.<\/p>\n

Known as the HPE800 Camaro, Hennessey’s upgrade package adds a pair of turbochargers that help pump a total of 847-hp and 801 lb-ft of torque from the 6.2L V8. The modification comes with a complete set of forged innards, customized camshafts, a high-flow oil pump, ported heads, a large throttle body, ported intake manifold and an upgraded fuel-system and injectors.<\/p>\n

The HPE800 upgrade for the Camaro SS can be mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.<\/p>\n

Hennessey Performance Engineering offers the package backed by a one-year\/12,000 mile limited warranty. No pricing details have been released.<\/p>\n
