Everest, the highest peak on Earth, on Saturday. This record was previously recognized to Temba Tsheri, a 16-year-old boy from Nepal.

Jordan Romero is from California, U.S.A. According to some reports, he had already climbed a few mountains when he was younger. He had already climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, which can be found in Africa, and Mount Kosciuszko in Australia.

Romero, a teenager with curly hair, was inspired by a painting that is hanging in his school which features the highest peaks of world’s seven continents. In earlier posts on his blog, he had talked of one of his dream and had stated that his every step was taking him towards the ‘biggest goal’. That is to climb and stand on the top of the world.

During this event, he was accompanied by his father, his father’s girlfriend and other three more guides. He started his journey on the left side of the Mt. Everest from the Chinese side. There is no age limit for the climbers when they register to the Chinese authority. Unlike in Nepal, where 16 years old would likely the minimum age requirement for the climbers.

Related posts:

13-year-old Jordan Romero Climbs Mount Everest

Jordan Romero: 13-year old to summit Mount Everest!

Youngest in the History: American Teenager Summits Everest

Jordan Romero, a 13-year old boy, had set a record as the youngest mountaineer to climb the Mt.
