All you have to do is <a href=\"http:\/\/android.modaco.com\/content\/google-nexus-one-nexusone-modaco-com\/309286\/frf50-froyo-pre-rooted-update-zip\/\">download his patched (and already rooted) version of Froyo<\/a>, slap it on your SD card, and apply it per usual through the Recovery.
