According to the distributor of Paramount Pictures, the movie opened to $71.3 million which is less than the <strong>\u201cShrek the Third\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sevensidedcube.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/Shrek.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-12752\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sevensidedcube.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/Shrek-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cShrek\u201d<\/strong> was the total disappointment of this week and the reason is unknown. Distributors are saying, may be it is because of the increase in ticket prices, especially for 3D movies. People who saw \u201c<strong>Shrek<\/strong>\u201d gave it an average A grade and people even said, they liked the first 3 parts better than this.<\/p>\n<p>The chief of DreamWorks animation said, they are positive about the <strong>\u201cShrek Forever After\u201d<\/strong> is on its way to becoming worldwide hit. So overall \u201c<strong>Shrek<\/strong>\u201d did not get a good response from audience worldwide as it was expected by the producers and distributors.
