<\/span><\/p>\n Despite an early report<\/a> claiming Jonas called it quits with Lovato in a face-to-face confrontation over her media-friendly chats about their relationship, Us Weekly<\/em> tattles claim Joe actually ditched Demi via mobile because he \u201cdidn\u2019t have the heart to do it in person.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cHe thought it wasn’t a good idea for them to be dating and working together all time and was afraid it was ruining the friendship.”<\/em><\/p>\n Jonas, 20, and Lovato, 17, met in 2007 while filming The Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock<\/em>.
