After the series finale of TV show ‘24<\/strong>‘ tonight, Jack Bauer<\/strong> says goodbye but not for a long time, because there may be a ‘24′ movie after all.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>There are plans to make a movie based on the TV show. It\u2019s supposedly going to involve Jack Bauer fighting some form of evil in Europe.<\/p>\n

According to Howard Gordon<\/strong>, Executive producer of ‘24′, \u201cThe current status of the movie is that Billy Ray has written a draft which Kiefer Sutherland has read, and we\u2019re all working together on the second draft.\u201d<\/p>\n

Right now there is no official status whether the movie will be pursued or not. The executive producer believes that there\u2019s a tricky balance in crafting the movie script. \u201cThere are two sets of requirements, which is honoring the series and the creative integrity of the character, and also potentially bringing in a whole new group of people into the franchise who can then go back and watch, and believe it\u2019s been consistent. So I think we recognize that we\u2019re serving two masters or two audiences here, not that they are mutually exclusive but there are two requirements,\u201d Gordon said.<\/p>\n
