All indices pointing downo ver 2%.<\/p>\n<p>Original post: Stocks have been hammered around the world. Britain&#8217;s FTSE is down 2.9% while Germany&#8217;s DAX and France&#8217;s CAC 40 have fallen 2.8% and 3.4% respectively. The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/the-euros-sucker-rally-is-being-wiped-out-as-the-imf-issues-an-ugly-report-on-spain-2010-5\">euro is tanking<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Asia has been rattled by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/korean-markets-fall-33-as-kim-jong-il-tells-military-to-prepare-for-war-2010-5\">North Korea conflict fears<\/a>, with Japan&#8217;s Nikkei down 3%, Hong Kong&#8217;s Hang Send down 2.9%, and China&#8217;s CSI 300 down 2.1%. Korea&#8217;s KOSPI has recovered somewhat from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/korean-markets-fall-33-as-kim-jong-il-tells-military-to-prepare-for-war-2010-5\">an earlier 3.3% drop<\/a>, but is still down 2.7%.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/static.businessinsider.com\/image\/4bfb86577f8b9a3608b00700-450-\/chart.png\" border=\"0\" alt=\"Chart\" width=\"450\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Australia is down 3%, and MSCI Asia&#8217;s Apex 50 is down 3.4% as a whole.<\/p>\n<p>Gold is slightly weaker, at $1,189 while the dollar index (DXY) is rising again, at 87.12.
