Google Wave\u00a0<a style=\"text-decoration:none;color:#004276;font-size:14px;border:0 initial initial;margin:0;padding:0;\" href=\"http:\/\/chronicle.com\/blogPost\/Google-Wave-Has-Officially\/24092\/\">opened its doors<\/a>, and Google Voice\u00a0<a style=\"text-decoration:none;color:#004276;font-size:14px;border:0 initial initial;margin:0;padding:0;\" href=\"http:\/\/chronicle.com\/blogPost\/Google-Gives-Students-a\/24008\/\">now lets<\/a> students get calls forwarded from their old numbers to their new phones.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family:Georgia;color:#000000;line-height:1.5em;font-size:14px;border:0 initial initial;margin:0 0 1em;padding:0;\">Google made\u00a0<a style=\"text-decoration:none;color:#004276;font-size:14px;border:0 initial initial;margin:0;padding:0;\" href=\"http:\/\/google-opensource.blogspot.com\/2010\/05\/cloudcourse-enterprise-application-in.html\">one more announcement<\/a> last week\u2014about a new\u00a0course-scheduling system,\u00a0<a style=\"text-decoration:underline;color:#666666;font-size:14px;border:0 initial initial;margin:0;padding:0;\" href=\"http:\/\/code.google.com\/p\/cloudcourse\/\">CloudCourse<\/a>\u2014that could potentially have implications for higher education.\u00a0 CloudCourse is integrated with Google Calendar and allows users to schedule classes, look up user profiles, and sync the service&#8217;s data with internal university systems. CloudCourse was built entirely on Google&#8217;s App Engine, which allows users to build and host Web apps.
