{"id":577830,"date":"2010-05-25T11:51:43","date_gmt":"2010-05-25T15:51:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sevensidedcube.net\/?p=13006"},"modified":"2010-05-25T11:51:43","modified_gmt":"2010-05-25T15:51:43","slug":"sugary-drinks-linked-to-high-blood-pressure","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/577830","title":{"rendered":"Sugary Drinks Linked To High Blood Pressure"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sevensidedcube.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/soft_drinks.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-13008\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sevensidedcube.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/soft_drinks-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>According to a recent study, even by <strong>decreasing one&#8217;s daily intake of sugary drinks<\/strong> by a small amount can lead to improvements for those suffering from high blood pressure.\u00a0 The study showed that by reducing the daily amount by one can (how many cans do Americans drink in a day?) that one can <strong>reduce blood pressure<\/strong> from 1.8 points in systolic pressure down to 1.1 points of systolic pressure; a total drop of 0.7 points in systolic pressure.<\/p>\n<p>According to assistant professor of epidemiology at <strong>Louisiana State University Health Science Center School of Public Health<\/strong>, Dr. Liwei Chen, the study &#8220;found a direct dose-response relationship.\u00a0 Individually, it was not a big reduction.
