It will be updated regularly.<\/li>\n<li>Sign up for the <a href=\"http:\/\/illinoiseducationassociation.org\/newsroom\/insider\/insider-for-may-25-2010\/iealistens@ieanea.org\">IEA insi<\/a><em><a href=\"http:\/\/illinoiseducationassociation.org\/newsroom\/insider\/insider-for-may-25-2010\/iealistens@ieanea.org\">der<\/a>\u00a0<\/em> and the IEA <a href=\"http:\/\/illinoiseducationassociation.org\/newsroom\/insider\/insider-for-may-25-2010\/jim.reed1@ieanea.org\">Capitol Report<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Become a fan of the IEA<a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ieanea\"> facebook <\/a>page to see news updates, event announcements and chances to win prizes.<\/li>\n<li>Follow IEA on <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/ieanea\/\">Twitter<\/a> for news updates and breaking news when we &#8220;Tweet&#8221; legislative debate or important meetings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>&#8230;and that\u2019s not all<br \/>\n<\/strong>As many as 300,000 school employee jobs nationally could be lost next school year unless Congress steps in. The U.S. House of Representatives and Senate are considering proposals that would provide dollars to states and eliminate the need for many of the pink slips across the country.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nPoliticians do care what\u2019s important to their constituents, especially constituents who call them.
