The modest down day in most of the indices was a big win for the bulls<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the scoreboard:<\/p>\n<p>Dow: -22.82<br \/>S&amp;P 500: +0.38<br \/>NASDAQ: -2.60<\/p>\n<p>And now, some of today&#8217;s top stories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As noted above, the big comeback is huge. <strong>Investors live to see another day<\/strong> &#8212; a day that, perhaps, will include some kind of new quantitative easing measure in Europe, or maybe even a move by our Fed. A big winner today was Goldman Sachs, which ended up over 4%. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/big-trades-today-2010-5#flight-to-safety-10-year-german-bund-1\">See some of the key trades of the day here &gt;<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>During this morning&#8217;s big selloff, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/march-case-shiller-2010-5\">March Case-Shiller<\/a> got lost in the shuffle, but it was weak, s<strong>howing further signs of a possible double-dip in housing<\/strong>. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/chart-of-the-day-spcase-shiller-home-price-indices-ny-lv-comp-20-2010-5\">New York in particular seems vulnerable to further declines<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The BP situation continues to get more tense.
