Fey, at the age of 40, will be the youngest and the third female recipient of the award. <strong>Mark Krantz<\/strong>, co-executive producer of the <em>Twain<\/em> salute, states \u201cIt does change the paradigm a bit. A lot of people felt it was a lifetime achievement award for an old person. It never has been. It is a prize, really, about somebody\u2019s depth and talent.\u201d Fey\u2019s response to the award was, \u201cI assume <em>Betty White<\/em> was disqualified for steroid use.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tina Fey<\/strong> graduated in the <em>University of Virginia<\/em> and further improved her skills with the <em>Second City improv troupe<\/em> in <em>Chicago<\/em>. She had been a part of the \u201c<strong>Saturday Night Live<\/strong>\u201d skit laboratory and became the first female head writer for the show. She had been the <em>executive producer<\/em> and <em>cast member<\/em> of \u201c<strong>30 Rock<\/strong>\u201d which brought her five <strong>Emmys<\/strong>, two <strong>Golden Globes<\/strong> and four <strong>Screen Actors Guild Awards<\/strong>. She had also in the movies \u201c<strong>Mean Girls<\/strong>\u201d, \u201c<strong>Baby Mama<\/strong>\u201d and \u201c<strong>Date Night<\/strong>\u201d. Her popularity soared in 2008 when she made her impersonations of the <em>Republican vice-presidential hopeful<\/em> <strong>Sarah Palin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><!-- AdSense Now!
