This week is an opportunity for the public to tour and learn more about the visiting ships. Military aircraft would also take it&#8217;s part as they will fly over in honor of the ones that lost their lives for the service to the United States.<\/p>\n<p>There are may things to do during fleet week like tour visiting ships, lectures, parade of ships in the harbor, watch competitions including eating contests and tug-of-war, attend the memorial day ceremony and watch the musical performances by sailors and marines.<\/p>\n<p>All events on the Fleet Week are free, unless the events are held at the <strong>USS Intrepid Sea<\/strong>. You will have to go and buy tickets to enter the museum.<\/p>\n<p>Fleet Week in New York City would start on<strong> May 26<\/strong> until <strong>June 2, 2010<\/strong>.
