{"id":58112,"date":"2009-11-29T13:20:12","date_gmt":"2009-11-29T18:20:12","guid":{"rendered":"tag:www.healthdiaries.com:\/\/4add5045c689f551ab9fb666bd9e5fc2"},"modified":"2009-11-29T13:20:12","modified_gmt":"2009-11-29T18:20:12","slug":"how-to-open-a-pomegranate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/58112","title":{"rendered":"How to Open a Pomegranate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To open a pomegranate, place it on a cutting board covered with a towel you don&#8217;t mind getting stained.  <\/p>\n<p>Cut the top part off (the crown) like you would cut off the top of a pumpkin. <\/p>\n<p>Remove the &#8220;lid&#8221; you have created.  You&#8217;ll see five membranes inside.  Cut the outside of the pomegranate along the lines of these membranes.  You don&#8217;t need to cut all the way through &#8211; you only need to go as deep as the membranes.<\/p>\n<p>Now that you&#8217;ve made your cuts, pull the pomegranate apart like an orange.  You&#8217;ll have five pieces connected to the bottom of the pomegranate.  It will look like a star once it&#8217;s peeled back. <\/p>\n<p>The pomegranate is ready to eat now.
