Mini Beachcomber Concept<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Mini Moke is back… well, almost. Mini bosses are currently looking at whether or not to put the buggy-inspired Beachcomber concept into production. Mini says that the new Countryman based crossover concept was a huge hit at the 2010 Detroit Motor Show<\/a> in January.<\/p>\n

“We will come back to this to see if there is a business basis, as we were overwhelmed by the reaction. MINI will never show a concept that won\u2019t make production,” said head of brand management Dr Wolfgang Armbrecht.<\/p>\n

The Mini Beachcomber Concept was built around the road-going version of the Countryman, but gave up two doors to pay tribute to the Mini Moke – the legendary Mini-based take on the classic beach buggy.<\/p>\n
