As an update to our previous post<\/a> about Matias Duarte, one of the major contributors to the creation of Palm’s webOS, leaving Palm, Engadget has received confirmation that Duarte has joined Google and their Android OS. Duarte is now the User Experience Director for Android, working with the head of Android Andy Rubin. Rubin and Duarte have worked together in the past on Sidekick, so we’re sure that Duarte’s transition into the Google will go smoothly.
