Ghost Whisperer<\/em>, the cult supernatural drama that was surprisingly axed by CBS last week, will not crossover to ABC.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n “After five wonderful seasons and over 100 episodes, we are disappointed to announce Ghost Whisperer will not be returning for a sixth season,” <\/em> executive producers Kim Moses and Ian Sander said in a statement Thursday. “We’ve had an incredible experience and owe a debt of gratitude to everyone involved. We continue our relationship with ABC Studios and look forward to developing many more successful projects together in the future.”<\/em><\/p>\n The release came in response to reports suggesting that Ghost Whisperer<\/em> would be given a new lease on life on The Alphabet Network after ABC chiefs expressed interest in the series.
