{"id":58807,"date":"2009-12-02T02:19:05","date_gmt":"2009-12-02T07:19:05","guid":{"rendered":"tag:www.vegan-food.net:\/\/20409312bed853c80e7844a34fe19148"},"modified":"2009-12-02T02:19:05","modified_gmt":"2009-12-02T07:19:05","slug":"bryannas-breast-of-tofu-with-italian-style-roasted-corn-and-tomato-relish-condiments-salsa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/58807","title":{"rendered":"Bryanna&#8217;s Breast of Tofu With Italian-Style Roasted Corn and Tomato Relish( Condiments &#8211; Salsa )"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Daily Random Recipe<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>INGREDIENTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 1\/2 cup fresh or frozen sweet corn kernels<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tablespoon roasted (Asian) sesame oil<\/li>\n<li>2 medium ripe tomatoes &#8211; about 12 ounces, diced<\/li>\n<li>2 green onions, chopped<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup fresh basil, chopped<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup chopped, pitted kalamata olives<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon salt<\/li>\n<li>freshly-ground black pepper to taste<\/li>\n<li>3\/4 pound cooked <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vegan-food.net\/recipe\/669\/Breast-of-Tofu\/\">Breast of Tofu<\/a> slices , browned as for &#8220;crispy slices&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p \/><strong>METHOD:<\/strong><br \/>To make the salsa: Mix the corn on a cookie sheet with the two oils. Place about 3-4 inches under the broiler of your oven and broil until they start to brown. Toss with a spatula and add the tomatoes. Broil until the tomato begins to look a little charred in places. Scoop into a bowl and mix with the other salsa ingredients.<\/p>\n<p \/>\nDivide the crisp, browned Breast of Tofu between 4 warmed plates and top evenly with the salsa.
