{"id":61386,"date":"2009-12-01T12:03:37","date_gmt":"2009-12-01T17:03:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.compact.org\/?p=8957"},"modified":"2009-12-01T12:03:37","modified_gmt":"2009-12-01T17:03:37","slug":"kansas-campus-compact-to-coordinate-service-activities-on-kansas-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/61386","title":{"rendered":"Kansas Campus Compact to Coordinate Service Activities on Kansas Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"_mcePaste\" style=\"position: absolute; left: -10000px; top: 0px; width: 1px; height: 1px; overflow-x: hidden; overflow-y: hidden;\">Manhattan, December 1, 2009: \u00a0Kansas Campus Compact today announced that students at seven of its thirteen member institutions would be coordinating service activities on Kansas Day 2010. \u00a0These activities are part of the inaugural Kansas Campus Compact\u2019s \u201cCommemorate Kansas\/Serve Kansas\u201d program.<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\" style=\"position: absolute; left: -10000px; top: 0px; width: 1px; height: 1px; overflow-x: hidden; overflow-y: hidden;\">The program was created to promote higher education participation in activities that foster a greater appreciation for Kansas history and promote opportunities for students, faculty, and community members to do measurable, meaningful, sustainable service to their communities in support of the Kansas State Historical Society\u2019s commemoration of the 149th Kansas Day on January 29, 2010.
