The best thing about baking gifts, or food gifts, is that they&#8217;re usually a little bit more useful than another sweater with a reindeer on it, so there is no harm in picking out something for yourself while shopping for others.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/bakingbites.com\/the-baking-bites-cookbook\/\">The Baking Bites Cookbook<\/a> is at the top of my gift-giving list this year. It&#8217;s great for bakers of all ages, foodies and fans of this site. It also makes a great hostess gift for parties.<\/li>\n<li>When you already have your copy of my cookbook,\u00a0 other good reads include <a href=\"http:\/\/bakingbites.com\/2009\/11\/the-ungarnished-truth\/\">The Ungarnished Truth<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/bakingbites.com\/2009\/07\/the-sweet-life-in-paris\/\">The Sweet Life in Paris<\/a>, both very entertaining foodie nonfiction. As for cookbooks, try to take a peek at your recipient&#8217;s book case, then browse through some of the <a href=\"http:\/\/bakingbites.com\/category\/books\/\">books I&#8217;ve mentioned<\/a> throughout the year to find one that seems like a good fit. There are so many to choose from!<\/li>\n<li>A kitchen scale is a great gift if you don&#8217;t already have one.
