{"id":61849,"date":"2009-12-03T17:17:33","date_gmt":"2009-12-03T22:17:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/surprise-now-even-china-thinks-gold-is-in-bubble-territory-2009-12"},"modified":"2009-12-03T17:17:33","modified_gmt":"2009-12-03T22:17:33","slug":"surprise-now-even-china-thinks-gold-is-in-bubble-territory","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/61849","title":{"rendered":"Surprise: Now Even China Thinks Gold Is In Bubble Territory"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Even China &#8212; which is obviously embarking on a long term plan to dump dollars, and move its reserves into hard assets &#8212; is unnerved by the surge in gold.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/finance\/china-business\/6712676\/China-wary-of-gold-bubble-danger-after-quietly-doubling-its-reserves.html\">Telegraph<\/a>: Hu Xiaolian, the vice-governor of the central bank, said Beijing would not buy    gold indiscriminately.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&ldquo;We must keep in mind the long-term effects when considering what to use as    our reserves,&rdquo; she said. &ldquo;We must watch out for bubbles forming on certain    assets and be careful in those areas.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">China announced this year that it had quietly doubled its gold reserves to    1,054 tonnes, the world&rsquo;s fifth largest holding.
