Yesterday, on First Lady Michelle Obama’s birthday, the White House launched its newest Twitter account: @FLOTUS<\/a> (short for First Lady of the United States). The White House uses Twitter to connect directly with Americans, and now you can get the latest from the Office of the First Lady.<\/p>\n

@FLOTUS<\/a> followers will get regular updates and photos from the First Lady’s team, plus special messages directly from the First Lady. Tweets signed “-mo”, like this one<\/a>, are from Mrs. Obama.<\/p>\n
