Three people lost their lives in a helicopter crash on Sunday morning during the filming of a Discovery Channel show, authorities said.<\/p>\n

“A production company was shooting a show for Discovery Channel when this tragic accident occurred,” a rep for Discovery said in a statement<\/a>. “We are all cooperating fully with authorities. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families.”<\/p>\n

The tragic accident occurred at Polsa Rosa Ranch, a popular filming spot in a rural area of Los Angeles. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash and have not released the names of the victims. The show’s production company, Eyeworks USA, had a permit to fly<\/a> in the area but did not have a monitor on set at the time. <\/p>\n
