Judge Robin\u00a0Jacob had retired in 2011, but <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fosspatents.com\/2013\/02\/uk-judge-who-issued-extreme-ruling-for.html\">as <em>FOSS Patents<\/em> explains<\/a>, ex-judges can still be invited to sit on the bench in the UK, and he presided over the case that ended up in a decision favoring Samsung.
