Since that time many have wondered when it would talk up its own plans to put its public and private cloud projects on the OpenStack open-source cloud platform. Well, that time has come at this week&#8217;s<a href=\"http:\/\/www-01.ibm.com\/software\/tivoli\/pulse\/\"> IBM Pulse conference<\/a>\u00a0on Monday.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/gigaom.com\/2010\/09\/20\/ibm-to-buy-netezza-for-1-7-billion\/ibm-logo-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-168704\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"IBM LOGO\" src=\"http:\/\/gigaomcloud.files.wordpress.com\/2010\/09\/ibm-logo.jpeg?w=300&#038;h=156\" width=\"300\" height=\"156\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-168704\" \/><\/a>While it&#8217;s hardly surprising that IBM woud make use of all these open source goodies it&#8217;s been working with, the news is, as <a href=\"http:\/\/allthingsd.com\/20130304\/ibm-makes-a-big-bet-on-openstack-in-the-cloud\/\">All Things Digital<\/a> reports, a big deal.
