German website <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mobilegeeks.de\/cebit-samsung-stoppt-verkauf-des-ativ-tab-windows-rt-tablet\/\"><em>MobileGeeks<\/em> reports<\/a> that <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/tag\/samsung\">Samsung<\/a> (<a href=\"http:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/q?s=005930.KS&amp;ql=0\">005930<\/a>) will no longer sell its <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/2012\/08\/29\/samsung-ativ-tab-release-date-specs-windows-8\/\">Windows RT-based ATIV Tab<\/a> in Germany and other European countries due to a lack of demand. In particular, <em>MobileGeeks<\/em> says that Samsung has found it hard to sell Windows RT tablets to consumers since they don&#8217;t pack the full power of <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/tag\/microsoft\">Microsoft&#8217;s<\/a> (<a href=\"http:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/q?s=msft\">MSFT<\/a>) Windows 8 operating system and aren&#8217;t priced low enough to be compelling alternatives to the iPad. <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/2013\/01\/11\/samsung-windows-rt-tablets-cancelled-289406\/\">Samsung earlier this year cancelled its plans to sell the ATIV Tab in the United States<\/a>, so it seems the company is finding it hard to move Windows RT devices in markets outside of Europe as well.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/feeds.feedburner.com\/~r\/TheBoyGeniusReport\/~4\/TtQPmwvBM-4\" height=\"1\" width=\"1\"\/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It seems that the Surface isn&#8217;t the only Windows RT tablet that&#8217;s proving to be a tough sell.
