{"id":645453,"date":"2013-03-06T11:45:01","date_gmt":"2013-03-06T16:45:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.webpronews.com\/?p=220034"},"modified":"2013-03-06T11:45:01","modified_gmt":"2013-03-06T16:45:01","slug":"objet-3d-printers-create-a-functioning-keyboard-in-one-print-job","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/645453","title":{"rendered":"Objet 3D Printers Create A Functioning Keyboard In One Print Job"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ve already seen what <a href=\"http:\/\/www.webpronews.com\/tag\/objet\">Objet&#8217;s<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.webpronews.com\/3d-printers-can-indeed-make-a-ship-in-a-bottle-2012-11\">multi-material 3D printers<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.webpronews.com\/objet-makes-a-revolving-ferris-wheel-with-a-3d-printer-2012-12\">can do<\/a>, but it&#8217;s always nice to see Objet pushing the boundaries of what its Connex printers can accomplish. <\/p>\n<p>In today&#8217;s demonstration, the <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.objet.com\/2013\/03\/06\/3d-printed-phone-keypad-no-assembly\/\">Objet Connex 3D printer<\/a> has created a keyboard replica. The amazing part about this particular print job is that the keys didn&#8217;t have to be printed separately and inserted into the keyboard. Everything was created in a single print, further demonstrating the power of Objet&#8217;s Connex line of 3D printers. <\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"616\" height=\"347\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xcuu85dtAyg?rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Of course, these keyboards can&#8217;t actually connect to a PC as they are only plastic prototypes. Real keyboards will have to be produced via traditional means until 3D printers can start creating circuitry.
