And now <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2013\/3\/7\/4073132\/microsoft-hardware-oems-surface-challenge-craig-mundie\"><em>The Verge<\/em> reports<\/a> that Microsoft\u00a0chief research and strategy officer Craig Mundie this week said bluntly that the company had made a mistake by giving OEMs a free rein over design without providing any sort of input or feedback.
