For those who need a refresher, Samsung and LG had been locked in a patent battle over OLED and LCD display technology, although both were said to be <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/2013\/02\/04\/samsung-lg-patent-dispute-315711\/\">working toward patent peace with a settlement<\/a>. LG recently <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/2013\/03\/21\/lg-samsung-patent-suit-compensation-388996\/\">reaffirmed its suit against the company and demanded compensation<\/a>,\u00a0and even\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/2013\/03\/19\/galaxy-s-4-patent-infringement-lg-385419\/\">made threats against Samsung&#8217;s new Galaxy S 4 smartphone<\/a>.
