Per <em><a href=\"http:\/\/go.bloomberg.com\/tech-deals\/2013-03-26-greedy-hedge-funds-wont-stop-metropcs-merger-t-mobile-ceo\/\">Bloomberg<\/a><\/em>,\u00a0Legere this week expressed confidence that <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/2013\/03\/21\/t-mobile-metropcs-merger-regulatory-approval-388894\/\">MetroPCS shareholders would vote in favor of merging with T-Mobile<\/a> &#8220;despite the greedy hedge funds that are trying to take a double-dip out of that process.&#8221;\u00a0Legere went onto explain that big hedge funds who own large stakes in companies typically make a lot of noise during acquisitions because they want &#8220;to get more money&#8221; through empty sabre rattling.\u00a0Legere also made headlines this week when he described rival carrier <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/tag\/att\">AT&amp;T&#8217;s<\/a> (<a href=\"http:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/q?s=t\">T<\/a>) mobile plans as &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/2013\/03\/26\/t-mobiles-uncarrier-initiative-analysis-397873\/\">the biggest crock of s&#8212;<\/a>&#8221; he&#8217;s ever seen.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/feeds.feedburner.com\/~r\/TheBoyGeniusReport\/~4\/GZMDEQ4qZXk\" height=\"1\" width=\"1\"\/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>T-Mobile CEO\u00a0John Legere strikes a rather populist tone compared to your typical businessperson and now he&#8217;s going after &#8220;greedy hedge funds&#8221; who are allegedly trying to block his company&#8217;s merger with MetroPCS (PCS).
