Lazaridis founded <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/tag\/blackberry\">BlackBerry<\/a>\u00a0(<a href=\"http:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/q?s=bbry\">BBRY<\/a>)\u00a0in 1984 with Jim Balsillie and served as its co-chief executive until last year. Balsillie\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/2012\/03\/29\/rim-reports-q4-miss-balsillie-resigns-as-director-cto-out\/\">resigned from BlackBerry in March of 2012<\/a> and recently announced that he had sold all of his shares in the struggling company.
