ITC judge Thomas Pender said that Samsung\u00a0infringed upon Apple&#8217;s intellectual property by including the text-selection feature in its smartphones and tablets. Samsung was found not guilty of infringing upon a second patent that dealt with the ability to detect microphones and other devices when plugged into a headphone jack. If the full commission decides to uphold Pender&#8217;s ruling then Samsung will face an import ban for its Galaxy, Transform and Nexus devices, among others, into the United States.
