The company is looking for a display specialist to improve the overall optical performance of its devices and &#8220;lead the investigation on emerging display technologies such as high optical efficiency LCD, AMOLED and flexible display.&#8221; The employee will also be required to &#8220;analyze the trade-offs between design, process, optical performance, and implementation feasibility.&#8221; An earlier rumor suggested that Apple was interested in using\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/2013\/02\/21\/apple-iwatch-patent-slap-bracelet-339338\/\">a curved glass display in its iWatch device<\/a>.\u00a0A number of rival companies, such as <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/tag\/samsung\">Samsung<\/a> (<a href=\"http:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/q?s=005930.KS&amp;ql=0\">005930<\/a>) and <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/tag\/lg\">LG<\/a> (<a href=\"http:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/q?s=066570.KS&amp;ql=0\">066570<\/a>), have <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/2013\/01\/09\/samsung-flexible-displays-286734\/\">been experimenting with flexible touch screens<\/a> in recent years.
