It seems that Kris Humphries<\/a>‘ legal troubles will soon grow beyond being sued by an L.A. suit shop<\/a>. TMZ is reporting that the NBA star did not show up for a mandatory settlement conference for his contentious divorce<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Humphries, who plays for the Brooklyn Nets, and his estranged wife, reality TV actress and amateur porn star Kim Kardashian<\/a>, have been separated for over one year now. Kardashian filed for divorce after only 72 days of marriage, leading many, including Humphries, to speculate that the entire marriage had been a Kardashian publicity stunt.<\/p>\n

The divorce proceedings have dragged on, and this week the couple were scheduled for a mandatory settlement conference to resolve the divorce. The TMZ report<\/a> states that the conference was scheduled to take place in Los Angeles at 8:30 am PT on Friday, but that Humphries was spotted in New York early Friday morning – with the earliest flight to the west coast arriving at 9:15 am PT.<\/p>\n

The publication later confirmed that Humphries did not make it to the conference, though the paparazzi did catch Kardashian arriving on time:<\/p>\n
