A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.change.org\/petitions\/verizon-get-rid-of-contracts-for-wireless-service\">new Change.org petition<\/a> started by Mike Beauchamp of Wichita, Kan. is asking Verizon to <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/2013\/03\/26\/t-mobiles-uncarrier-initiative-analysis-397873\/\">follow T-Mobile&#8217;s footsteps<\/a> and &#8220;end carrier contracts and create an affordable way for consumers to purchase their devices.&#8221; Beauchamp says that he&#8217;s a long-time Verizon subscriber who doesn&#8217;t want to pay early termination fees for changing carriers in the future.
