In addition to the <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/2013\/03\/19\/htc-one-release-date-delay-385398\/\">HTC One&#8217;s delayed release date<\/a>, the device is now facing an injunction granted by a Dutch court to rival manufacturer <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/tag\/nokia\">Nokia<\/a>, which\u00a0is alleging that key microphone components used for the <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/tag\/htc-one\">HTC One<\/a> violate an exclusivity deal between Nokia and\u00a0ST Microelectronics. An unnamed source <a href=\"http:\/\/www.engadget.com\/2013\/04\/22\/nokia-preliminary-injunction-against-htc-one-mic\/\">tells <em>Engadget<\/em><\/a> that &#8220;the issue is likely to be a breach of an NDA between Nokia and ST Electronics as the phone maker asserts that the &#8216;microphone components [were] invented by and manufactured exclusively for Nokia.'&#8221; While this sort of case may be irritating for European consumers who are hoping to get their hands on the HTC One, <em>Engadget<\/em> helpfully notes that at least it isn&#8217;t yet another patent dispute.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/feeds.feedburner.com\/~r\/TheBoyGeniusReport\/~4\/HmZuCTAhjjM\" height=\"1\" width=\"1\"\/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>HTC may have made the world&#8217;s best Android phone with the HTC One, but the company has had trouble getting the device to potential customers in a timely manner.
