Luckily, it&#8217;s not another slapped-together live-action action movie that&#8217;s only resemblance to a game is character names and some professional cosplay.<\/p>\n<p>Sony and Insomniac Games, the developers of the <em>Ratchet &#038; Clank<\/em> and Resistance games (and <em>Spyro<\/em>), have announced that a <em>Ratchet &#038; Clank<\/em> movie is currently in the works, to be released sometime in 2015.  The movie now has a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ratchetandclankmovie.com\/\">website<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/RatchetandClankMovie\">Facebook page<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RatchetMovie\">Twitter account<\/a> where fans can follow the movie&#8217;s development.<\/p>\n<p>Blockade Entertainment and Rainmaker Entertainment are working on the animated film, though Insomniac is involved in a consulting role for the characters, screenplay, and animation.
